Final Cut Pro X now available in the Mac App Store for $300

Apple introduced Final Cut Pro X on Tuesday, along with Motion 5 and Compressor 4. Together, the three apps cost less than half of the previous Final Cut Studio video editing suite, and all are available only on the Mac App Store.
